Listen to a New Weather Sound Collection: Urban Winds

Web store Hzandbits Sound Effects released a new weather sound library earlier this week: Urban Winds (38 sounds, 1.33 gigabytes, $32.00).

The Urban Winds collection provides winds clean ambiences and specifics recorded in the city of Aarhus, Denmark. The field recordings were captured at night. As a result, the recordings are clean, with only the faintest traffic.

The sound pack includes a variety of textures, including:

• Wind at office exteriors, in construction sites, and ports.
• Wind through pipes.
• Fluttering plastic.
• Clattering metal fences.

The new collection follows an earlier wind offering by the Danish sound design company, Howling Winds.
