|Dogs||These dogs were recruited in Brooklyn, NY from the “man” (in this case actually a woman…) who used to run my block. This is the Mom, Dad and one of their sons. We gave them a break from the big city and took them to the country to play. Now play for them sounds pretty rough but I assure you they had a delightful day of it. These have a bit of room on them and they pitch beautifully. They are fantastic for primary design or just to sweeten here and there.||C.A. |Epona||When creating organic, animalistic vocalizations, source material can be both a great source of sonic potential as well as creative inspiration. This library will add new tools to your beast-creation tool belt and give you a wealth of material which you can crush, stretch, twist, boost, distort, fade, and layer until your sonic heart’s content. Sourced from a dog with a very evocative set of pipes, at 192kHz and with such a relatively small digital footprint (just under half a gig), there isn’t anything else out there truly like Epona.||Eiravaein Works||231||0.42||√||Animal, Insect, Amphibian||$21.00||192||24||1||–||WAV||–|

|Farne Life||This release is a collection of field recordings from the Farne Islands, Northumberland, with a focus on Inner Farne.
The recordings were made between the 26th and 31st July 2014 and capture the lives of three species of birds nesting there; Kittiwakes (Rissa tridactyla), Shag (Phalacrocorax aristotelis) and Common Tern (Sterna hirundo). A 6 minute soundscape appears on the release in the form of a sonic wander around the island nearing the end of Spring.

|Flying Insects||Flying Insects HD Professional Sound Effects Library contains wild and crazy performances from real live insects. Recorded over the course of four years, this “Bugs Gone Wild” collection is loaded with unique bug vocalizations and movements. There are enough wing buzzing and flying around in circles to make your head spin. Insects are really difficult to record. For one, they really do not take well to instructions as they have a mind of their own. Second, they are not very loud unless they slam into the microphone at high speed. Getting decent recordings was quite a challenge. These recordings come from chance encounters with the insect population here in North Idaho…where we have a few bugs. The only foley in this collection is the sound of me trying to shake the bug off a stick after it flew into a spider web and got trapped. Other than that, this collection is 100% live bug! Recorded and painstakingly mastered at 24-Bit 96kHz, this “Bugs Gone Wild” sound effects library contains 321 broadcast WAV files with detailed metadata.||The Recordist||321||0.557||√||Animal, Insect, Amphibian||$50.00||96||24||Unknown||–||WAV||Soundminer v4|
|Foley Collection: Trot & Gallop||Finally, Horses are here!
We have recorded in High quality 96KHz and 24 bit traditional coconuts foley samples for horses footsteps.
In cinema history, coconuts have been used since first foley recordings for horses movements. Today, they are still used in top foley stages.
This time FOLEYCOLLECTION presents the best foley instrument created in our history. Great traffic interface, combinations, and easy to use. Of course, this instrument has been recorded with traditional coconuts in order to emulate horses footsteps.
Programed to sound in a natural way, you have two banks of keys: Trot and Gallop. Navigate throw the different menus in order to adjust add ons, extras and surfaces levels. You can also adjust EXTRA time attack. This way you can create the perfect sound for your horses.

|Galapagos Islands||Back in 2011, my wife and I took a trip to the Galapagos Islands. Naturally, I at least brought a little recorder with me. 😉
I brought back a small set of recordings as souvenirs, and I decided to share them with the community through my blog. They’re still free for all who are interested, and you can download them simply by adding them to your cart below.

|Monkey Vocals||The island of Shodoshima in the Seto Inland Sea of Japan is home to five nomadic tribes of Macaque monkeys, along with an even larger resident population at an outdoor monkey park… During my two months Artists Residency on the island I used some of my spare time field recording their vocals, in a group and when possible on an individual basis.||HISSandaROAR||?||3.3||Animal, Insect, Amphibian||$49.00||192||24||Unknown||166||Unknown||–|

|Pig||The Woodstock Animal Sanctuary has a bunch of pigs. These guys are huge. I am reasonably sure they would have eaten me if they could. I took my father, who was a farmer of sorts in his day, up there to visit the people who run the farm. We showed up on the day they were trimming the tusks of some of the larger pigs (by large I mean 400+ lbs). So recorder in hand I spent the better part of a cold day in a barn with a bunch of animals who were tired, pissed off and loud as hell. I love how chesty and big they sound.||C.A. |Pigs||Need some totally insane baby pig squeals and screeches? This collection has them along with growls and wacky vocalizations. Create awesome creature effects with this off-the-wall sound library. Also included are large pig grunts, snorts and breaths recorded on a muddy farm field. Original release date: October 26, 2010.Updated: April 12,2013. Additional large pig sounds were added. Lots of heavy grunts, snorts and sick sounding feeding sounds. Recorded with a Sennheiser MKH-8040 microphone at feeding time. Pigs are always hungry and they fight and struggle with each other to get to the slop even though they are all buddies. This made for some interesting chewing and vocal noises as they positioned themselves for the feast at the food bar.||The Recordist||41||0.103||√||Animal, Insect, Amphibian||$30.00||96||24||Unknown||60||WAV||Soundminer v4|
